Bound Verse

To My Reticent Critics
Posted by Carl on Friday, February 5, 2010 at 0:53am
No one seems eager to post any comments on here, so I have written a little poem entitled:
      TO MY RETICENT CRITICS

Don't be so bloody taciturn,
as though you could not speak!
I promise you your lips shall earn
the ear all true men seek!
Nor have you any cause to fear
what I shall say to you,
For I am also quite unclear
and wondering what is true.

So go ahead and speak my friends,
and don't hold one word back ...
I'm sure my own heart can supply
what praise or blame you lack!
But let me know now, by all means,
just what you really think
...I swear to you I worked too hard
to merely spill some ink!

Bound verse commentary
Posted by Carl on Saturday, January 9, 2010 at 0:21am
Hey everyone!  My book Bound Verse has been available from Winepress, Amazon, Barnes and Noble and many other outlets for a couple of weeks now, and I would be delighted to hear any comments or questions about the book or specific poems (or even topics raised in the book) from interested readers. Even negative or critical responses are welcome, since I really am curious about what people think of my work, even if they don't much like it! So please feel free to share your thoughts with me, and (time permitting) I will try to respond as best I can.   Carl.
